(LONDON) — Last night, the Safety at Sea Awards took place in Mayfair, London, with over 180 of the biggest names in maritime in attendance.
Alongside celebrating safe working practices, training services, and safety and security products, the Safety at Sea Awards recognized individuals – whether working at sea or onshore – for their hard work and sacrifice, which may otherwise be overlooked.
The United States Coast Guard’s AMVER Awards were again held as part of the ceremony, recognizing vessels that made themselves available for search and rescue throughout the previous year.
A huge congratulations to all the finalists, both individuals and companies, who joined us to celebrate those at the forefront of safety across the shipping industry.
