Radio Holland Singapore relocates, appoints new general manager

(SINGAPORE) — Radio Holland Singapore, part of the recently formed company RH Marine Group, has relocated to a modern, new office and appointed Danny Tan as general manager, effective Jan. 1.

Tan was welcomed back to Radio Holland at the official office opening ceremony on his return to the group after four years away. Tan has more than 30 years of experience in the maritime business, of which17 years were spent with Radio Holland. He is well known in Singapore and Malaysia.

The new office is located in the center of Singapore, in a district where much of the maritime community and Radio Holland customers are based.

Present at the festive opening of the new office was De Slager, who was appointed in an advisory function for Radio Holland in September of this year by Rene ten Brinke, CEO of RH Marine Group. During his speech marking the official opening of the new office, De Slager, vice chairman and former chief executive officer of Radio Holland, told staff and customers: “We have a good team spirit, motivated people, a respected leader and a fully-upgraded, spacious, modern office. We are all ready for the new start.”

Slager added: “In this region there are plenty of opportunities in Radio Holland’s traditional business, the sales and service of communication and navigation equipment. Besides that, there is also a new focus on onboard IT, a market we are increasingly involved in.”
