(NEW ORLEANS) — The tugboat captain whose vessel struck a pipeline last month has died, the Times-Picayune newspaper reported. The tugboat Shanon E. Settoon burst into flames when it hit the pipeline in Bayou Perot. The captain was badly burned and died during surgery Wednesday.
