Samson continues to strengthen R&D with new hire, Alma Regalado

(FERNDALE, WASH. – July 18, 2008) –- Samson, the worldwide leader in performance cordage, continues to support its commitment to having the industry’s most advanced Research and Development team by welcoming Engineer Alma Regalado to the staff. 

Ms. Regalado joins Samson with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of the City of Manila, Philippines. She has a strong background in manufacturing production engineering and managing all aspects of production from raw materials to finished products. Her duties at Samson will include planning, coordinating, and managing product development projects; testing and coordinating manufacturing operations in support of research and development projects; and working with resources and customers to coordinate technology development, activities and programs in response to specific market and production requirements.

Alma has extensive experience in both R&D and production process in various industries,” said Dr. Rafael Chou, Vice President of R&D. “She comes to us as a part of the ongoing expansion of Samson’s Research and Development team.
