Maritime Administration issues U.S. infrastructure report

(WASHINGTON) — The U.S. Maritime Administration has released a wide-ranging report on the nation’s maxed-out maritime infrastructure. The agency’s report stresses that growth in maritime trade has resulted in a strain on maritime facilities. The 48-page report mentions the need to move forward on investments in projects ranging from harbor dredging to expansion of shoreside port facilities.
