Northeast Technical Services Co., Inc. announced that Stephen N. Konzel has joined NETSCo in the newly created position of VP/General Manager. Konzel will be responsible for general management and marine engineering activities required to support the company’s growth & business development initiatives; and for implementing the firm’s long-term Strategic Plan initiatives.
Konzel joins NETSCo with more than 12 years of port engineer, shipyard, & business management experience. Prior to joining NETSCo, Konzel held the position of General Manager, Cleveland Shiprepair Co., Manitowoc Marine Group from 2003 through 2007, and various management, production, & engineering positions with Todd Pacific Shipyards, Cascade General Shipyard, and Interlake Steamship Co. Konzel earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point.
