JonRie’s new Innovative Series 500 Towing Winch will be showcased on a multitude of new Tugs in 2008. The list includes Express Marine’s Z Drive Tug Honor, Vane Brothers Tugs Sassafras and Elk River, Great Lakes Towing Handy Tug 1, Crowley Tugs Valor and Vigilant, Minette Bay TP-3, Polings & Cutler Tug Kimberly and the new Terminal Tugs for Boston Towing.
All Series 500 Towing Winches feature an independent drive level wind which can be operated from the pilot house or boat deck location so after hook up, deck hands do not have to adjust the level wind on deck to enhance a tug’s overall safety. All gypsy options are also independent drive with no chains or guards out in the weather and most models also include an H-Bitt for turn key installation.
