Gary Chouest says his company is ‘aggressively’ hiring (PHOTO)

(HOUMA, La.) — Edison Chouest Offshore Chief Executive Gary Chouest says his company is “still aggressively seeking good workers,” the Houma Today newspaper reported. Chouest was interviewed while the supply ship The Ingrid was launched. Edison Chouest plans to start building a vessel at the new LaShip shipyard at the Port of Terrebonne which will emply 1,000 people, but public funds for a new dry dock are needed there.
