Drill ship runs aground near Kodiak Island after breaking loose from Aiviq

(KODIAK, Alaska) — A conical drill ship ran aground near Kodiak Island, Reuters news service reported.  A line attaching Kulluk broke two days after its crew of 18 were evacuated by the Coast Guard because of a storm. It was being towed by the new vessel Aiviq, which experienced a loss of propulsion on Friday.
