Dometic Environmental Corporation appoints new vice presidents

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – June 15, 2007 – Dometic Environmental Corporation, a supplier of marine regrigeration and air conditioning products, announced two new executive appointments. Ken Taranto has been named vice president of galley products and aftermarket sales. Ned Trigg has been promoted to vice president of international and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sales.

Ken Taranto comes to Dometic from the recent acquisition of Waeco Group, where he was the vice president of OEM sales. Taranto has an extensive background in engineering, sales, and business management. He received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In Taranto’s new capacity, his focus will be galley products, aftermarket sales of Marine Air and Cruisair and growing sales for Dometic branded products. He will be responsible for integrating Waeco aftermarket products into Dometic’s supply chain.

Ned Trigg began his career with Dometic nearly 20 years ago as an application engineer for Cruisair in Richmond, Va. From there, Trigg managed numerous national and international OEM accounts. In his new position, he will be responsible for sales of Dometic products in the international market and for OEM sales in the United States. He is also the export sales manager for Sealand, a division of Dometic Sanitation Systems. He received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University.
