(MOBILE, Ala.) — The president of Austal USA has resigned, fueling speculation that General Dynamics may be interested in buying the Mobile shipyard, the Press-Register newspaper reported. A retired General Dynamics Bath Iron Works official may replace Joe Rella as interim president. The companies decined comment to the newspaper.
