(WESTON, Conn.) — The North American Marine Environment Protection Association has announced that its newest educational resource, the Marine Industry Learning Guide, is now available for free download. This guide was created for anyone looking to educate others on the marine industry, whether in a formal or non-formal setting. It provides activities to increase awareness of the marine industry and the industry's dedication to the health and safety of its crew, the environment and its fleet.
The guide is aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). It includes interactive activities related to the role of ports, navigation at sea, ship buoyancy, shipping and its role in global trade, maritime regulations, and more.
