(FALL RIVER, Mass.) — New England Ropes has hired Andrea Rekrut as marketing communications manager. Rekrut comes to New England with 16 years of marketing experience. In her last role at Cranston Print Works, she worked as a marketing brand manager. Rekrut was responsible for developing and executing all corporate marketing initiatives, news releases, advertising, social media, licensing, sales enablement, sponsorships, trade shows, events, the company website and marketing collateral.
Before working for Cranston Print Works, Rekrut worked for Southstream Seafoods as a marketing and public relations manager. Prior to that she worked for eight years in the fashion industry for Swarovski North America and as an international market segment manager.
Rekrut is a graduate of Providence College in Providence, R.I., holding a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts. In addition, she attended Rhode Island School of Design where she participated in the Continuing Executive Education Program with a focus on print design and production.
