(BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala.) — Horizon Shipbuilding has delivered the second vessel for NYC Ferry operated by Hornblower, which will launch this summer. With successful sea trials and certification by the U.S. Coast Guard behind it, H201 will get a final cleanup and the Hornblower crew will begin the nearly 1,900-mile journey from Horizon’s yard to New York City. H201 is designed by Incat Crowther and features a refined lightweight aluminum hull affording excellent efficiency and superior seakeeping qualities. ADA accessible and complaint, NYC Ferry provides spacious seating for commuters, and features Wi-Fi access and electronics charging stations throughout the vessel.

The second NYC Ferry vessel is expected to depart Horizon’s shipyard in Bayou La Batre, Ala., in the next few days. For additional information about the project, visit www.ferry.nyc.
