(HALIFAX, Nova Scotia) — A Halifax dinner cruise ended in an evacuation Sunday night when the Harbour Queen 1 lost propulsion, forcing more than 30 passengers to disembark to waiting vessels, CTV News reported.

Harbour Queen 1, a Mississippi River-style stern wheeler, lost engine power due to a fuel problem at about 7 p.m. The crew dropped anchor but the boat continued to drift toward the rocks at Point Pleasant Park. A tugboat was brought in to tow the cruise boat to port, where it was examined Monday morning.

No injuries were reported. The boat is operated by Murphy’s the Cable Wharf.
