(KINGSVILLE, Texas) — The body of a missing barge crewman was found Monday night on Padre Island four days after an explosion aboard the vessel near Port Aransas, Click2Houston.com reported.
Dujour Vanterpool, 26, of Houston was identified Tuesday from the remains, according to the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office. Vanterpool and barge captain Zachariah Jackson were reported missing after the Bouchard Transportation barge exploded and caught fire early Friday. Six crewmembers safely escaped.
