(FREELAND, Wash.) — Nichols Brothers Boat Builders launched an ATB tug Sunday for Kirby Offshore Marine after overcoming difficulties with a new track system, the South Whidbey Record reported. The launch of the 136-foot Tina Pyne was scheduled to be completed by Thursday morning, but problems with the launch system delayed the operation. Tina Pyne's sister tug, Nancy Peterkin, was launched in September after three days and the assistance of two barge cranes and three tugboats.
