(ROTTERDAM, Netherlands) — JRC and Alphatron Marine will showcase their latest navigation and communication bridge, the AlphaBridge, at Posidonia 2016 in Athens, Greece.

The AlphaBridge at the show has five 46-inch screens that provide a clear overview of all the navigation information. These monitors and the center console make steering easy and allow access to all the control panels of the communication equipment, as well as other equipment on the vessel, such as the lighting and engines. An advanced VSTEP simulator with 55-inch screen provides the benefit of having a unique navigation experience.

In the overhead of the AlphaBridge will be the AlphaLine Repeater, a full lineup of instruments that are easy to operate via an intuitive color touchscreen display, which is available in three standard sizes and two colors. In the center console is the AlphaSSRS, a new sound system designed to receive and detect foghorn signals from other vessels.

The 26-inch multi-function display (MFD) will be shown as a standalone solution. The MFD operating system can be used as basic unit for radar, ECDIS or conning, but can also be used as an upgraded system, extended for the most demanding applications. Also shown will be the 26-inch AlphaDynaPos, an advanced dynamic positioning system that operates through an ergonomic joystick.

The equipment will be on display at stand 1.205.
