Containership refloated after grounding in St. Lawrence River

(TROIS-RIVIERES, Quebec) — A containership ran aground Friday in the St. Lawrence River between Montreal and Quebec City after suffering a rudder problem, CBC News reported. The 803-foot MSC Monica was en route to Saint John, New Brunswick from Montreal when it drifted off course and grounded at about 0800 north of Trois-Rivieres. The ship has been refloated.
