RIBCRAFT delivers patrol boat to Vermont State Police

(MARBLEHEAD, Mass.) — RIBCRAFT, a United States manufacturer of professional-grade rigid inflatable boats for safety professionals, law enforcement and military agencies, announced the recent delivery of a specialized RIBCRAFT 7.8 RIB to the Vermont State Police Department Marine Division.

The third RIBCRAFT in the department's fleet of RIBs, the 25-foot RIBCRAFT will be used by the State Marine Patrol for patrol, enforcement operations and search-and-rescue applications on Lake Champlain. Designed as an offshore fast response craft, the 7.8 provides improved rough-water capabilities the department required.

This professional-grade RIB features a center console with a windscreen and front bench seat, leaning post, large open aft deck, antenna arch, tow post, crash rail, and a tube reinforcement package. Equipped with a 300-hp Evinrude E-TEC G2 engine, the boat reaches speeds in excess of 50 mph while still providing safety and performance.
