Houston Ship Channel reopens after ships collide (with VIDEO)

(HOUSTON) — A containership and a chemical tanker collided Thursday afternoon in the Houston Ship Channel, prompting a one-hour shutdown of marine traffic, Click 2 Houston reported. The U.S. Coast Guard said Monte Alegre and Chembulk Houston collided south of Eagle Point near San Leon. There were no reports of injuries or pollution.
