(VANCOUVER, British Columbia) — Five people are confirmed dead after a whale-watching tour boat sank 12 nm west of Tofino, the National Post newspaper reported. The vessel was found capsized with only it bow visible above the waterline. Officials said 27 people were aboard Leviathan II and there were injuries among the survivors.
