(TACOMA, Wash.) (July 23) — The freighter Helena Star has been refloated and will be towed to Seattle after sinking 18 months ago, The News Tribune reported. The 167-foot ship sank on Jan. 25, 2013 in the Hylebos Waterway and oil and diesel fuel were slowly seeping from it. Crews tried to raise the derelict ship in December but the single crane deployed wasn’t enough for the job.
