(GIGLIO, Italy) — The luxury cruise ship Costa Concordia was refloated Monday, two and a half years after it capsized off the Italian coast, killing 32, Reuters reported. Air was pumped into 30 large sponsons attached around the hull of the ship, forcing out the water and lifting the vessel. It will be towed a short distance into the harbor, then prepared for a longer tow to a scrap yard in Genoa in the next few days.
