(EDMONDS, Wash.) — Compass Courses is a well known and respected trainer of mariners throughout the country. In addition to their offerings such as captain's licensing up to 200 ton, AB, Lifeboatman and BST, they are excited to announce U.S. Coast Guard approval of their own Tankerman-PIC (DL) course.
The five-day Tankerman Person In Charge (Dangerous Liquids) course satisfies CFR requirements for endorsement as:
— Tankerman-PIC (DL)
— Tankerman-PIC (Barge) DL
As well as the CFR and STCW requirements for:
— Advanced oil tanker cargo operations
— Advanced chemical tanker cargo operations
Additionally, this course satisfies the requirements for Tankerman-Assistant DL, Tankerman-Engineer DL and basic oil and chemical tanker cargo operations.
The first class will be offered on Sept. 15 with another on Dec. 8.
