(ST.LOUIS) — An empty 18-foot fishing boat was found pinned between the two lead barges on a southbound tow early Friday morning near Chain of Rocks Bridge, KSDK.com reported. Rescue teams searched the river for victims and then suspended their efforts four hours later after no one was found. Authorities say there was evidence that the fishing boat had been recently occupied.
