Daniel Giani Appointed Regional Chief Executive for the Marine Division of Bureau Veritas

Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Giani to regional chief executive of the marine division in the United States and Canada. In his new role, Mr. Giani will be responsible for:  profit and loss accountability; identifying growth opportunities; providing technical support and quality monitoring for all marine and offshore endeavors; and ensuring compliance to division guidelines and procedures.
 
Mr. Giani joined Bureau Veritas in 2009 where he was employed as a marine center manager and crew and systems operations manager within the marine division based in Port Everglades, FL. Prior to Bureau Veritas, he was a technical director in the operations department for Norwegian Cruise Lines. Mr. Giani also held various positions with Alianza Shipyard and Det Norske Veritas.

Mr. Giani earned a degree in naval architecture and marine engineering from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Argentina.
