Port Authority police boat sinks during rescue training off NY

(QUEENS, N.Y.) — A Moose boat containing several Port Authority police sank in Jamaica Bay, the New York Post reported. At least two of the officers, who were undergoing rescue training, were hospitalized. Officers swam as far as 300 yards to get to shore after the 37-foot police vessel sank quickly.
