Captain fired after Mass. fast ferry runs aground on sandbar

Report: Trainee missed navigation markers

(BOSTON) -- A fast ferry serving the Boston-to-Provincetown route ran aground on a sandbar, the Boston Globe reported. The captain, who was in training, was fired for missing navigation markers. About 150 people were evacuated onto another ferry.
