(DELAWARE CITY, Del.) — Valero Energy Corp.’s announcement that it will close its Delaware City refinery is bad news for Wilmington Tug Inc., the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper reported. Wilmington Tug’s lightering crews and docking pilots service 70 percent of the tankers that call at the Valero refinery. The tug company’s owners also operate a water taxi that serves the tankers.
