(PENDLETON, Ore.) — Cruise West plans to add summer passenger service on the Columbia and Snake rivers, the East Oregonian newspaper of Pendleton reported. The move follows an announcement that Majestic America will discontinue cruise service in the region. Cruise West’s Spirit of ’98 now will stay in the Columbia system for the entire season instead of just in the spring and fall.
