Research vessel that sank off Delaware is finally salvaged

(BETHANY BEACH, Del.) — Two tugboats finally salvaged a research boat in which one mariner was killed off Delaware last week, the Cape Gazette newspaper of Lewes, Del., reported. The Northstar and the Delaware freed the Russell W. Peterson from a sandbar on their second try. The former lift boat was towed to Leesburg, N.J., for further investigation.
