NCL agrees to pay $485K for Pride of Aloha crew firings

(HONOLULU) — NCL America has agreed to pay $485,000 to settle a U.S. employment discrimination case, the Associated Press reported. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said the cruise line fired seven Middle Eastern crewmen from Pride of Aloha. The vessel is moving from Hawaii to the Miami-Bahamas route and is changing its name back to Norwegian Sky.
