Report: Feds may charge BP execs with seaman’s manslaughter

(WASHINGTON) — U.S. prosecutors are considering charging BP Plc executives with manslaughter for their behavior leading up to the Deepwater Horizon explosion, Bloomberg News reported. The report said charges of involuntary manslaughter or seaman’s manslaughter, plus environmental charges, have been discussed. A deputy attorney general said there is still much investigation to be done.
