Crew abandons 220 teen passengers when overcrowded boat sinks

One person died from the catamaran during snorkeling tour off Cancun

(CANCUN, Mexico) -- A catamaran carrying about 220 teens on a snorkeling tour sank off Cancun, ABC News reported. The crew allegedly abandoned the boat and the youthful passengers. One person died from the vessel, was authorized to carry only 80 passengers.
