BISSO MARINE ACQUIRES DERRICK BARGE


HOUSTON (June 2, 2009) ­ Bisso Marine, a premier provider of energy and maritime support services, has added the D/B BISSO 350 derrick barge to its expanding fleet.

Built to service the offshore industry, the revolving D/B BISSO 350 will be used for salvage, offshore construction and diving operations. The vessel has three load blocks: 350 mt (385 st), 150 mt (165 st) and 12 mt (13 st).

The vessel is eight-point moored and has dimensions of 76.2 x 23.8 x 5.5 meters (250 x 78 x 18 feet). It can accommodate 52 people. Formerly named ANNA 4, it was purchased from Hapo International Barges of Rotterdam and is class certified by Lloyd¹s Register. It flies the Panamanian flag and will be in worldwide service.

The addition of the D/B BISSO 350 increases the Bisso Marine derrick barge fleet to a total of six derrick barges.
