Docked Pa. riverboat sinks after snow collapses decks (PHOTO)

(PITTSBURGH) — The moored riverboat Becky Thatcher is mostly submerged after the weight of heavy snow apparently collapsed two decks, the Post-Gazette newspaper reported. The 220-foot stern-wheeler, built in 1926, is probably now destroyed. It was recently acquired and moved to Pittsburgh from Ohio and was preparing to re-enter service.
