Hawaii to lose NCL cruise ship Pride of Aloha

(HONOLULU) — Citing competition from foreign-flagged cruise ships, NCL Corp. is pulling a second vessel from its Hawaii service, the Star-Bulletin newspaper reported. The Pride of Aloha is being sent to a Hong Kong subsidiary in May to begin serving Asian routes. NCL also recently renamed its Pride of Hawaii ship and transferred it to Europe.
