'Ghost barge' drifts into Russian waters (with VIDEO)

(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) — A barge that was set adrift north of Canada during an October storm is now in Russian waters, KTVA reported. The Marine Exchange of Alaska said the vessel, dubbed the “ghost barge,” has drifted 500 miles and is ice-bound in the Bering Sea. Sea ice scientists are surprised at how fast the barge has moved.
