Offshore vessel capsizes near Port Arthur; all 7 aboard evacuate

(PORT ARTHUR, Texas) — An offshore utility vessel capsized in the Gulf of Mexico, and all seven occupants successfully evacuated in life rafts, the Beaumont Enterprise newspaper reported. The International Hunter likely will be salvaged, officials said. The accident happened about 25 miles southeast of the Sabine Jetties when the 120-foot vessel struck a submerged object.
