Newfoundland ferry stranded at sea because of high winds

(PORT AUX BASQUES, Newfoundland) — The ferry Atlantic Vision has been stranded at sea with passengers for more than 24 hours because of high winds, Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. Winds in the crossing between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are 80 kilometers per hour. Operator Marine Atlantic says the vessel is not able to dock safely in such conditions.
