(TIVERTON, Nova Scotia) — The New Brunswick car ferry William Pitt may never sail again after it ran aground on rocks along the Nova Scotia coast, the Digby Courier newspaper reported. The ferry was being towed to a refit project when it broke loose from the tug due to a parted line in high winds. The Coast Guard said the damage to the vessel, which is still one the rocks, is too great to repair.
