(PORT EVERGLADES, Fla.) — Florida’s casino-boat industry is withering fast due to new competition from land-based operators, the Sun-Sentinal newspaper of Fort Lauderdale reported. The SeaEscape ran its final voyage over the weekend. The Palm Beach Princess is now the only casino cruise-to-nowhere in South Florida.
