(NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) — The city of North Little Rock is shopping for a used barge to replace an earlier one that sank into the Arkansas River, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette newspaper reported. The sunken barge, called the Salty Parrot, had accommodated a riverboat-style restaurant. The Salty Parrot has been salvaged but will be scrapped.
