(ASTORIA, Ore.) — The Daily Astorian newspaper has published an editorial in which it expresses concern that the Coast Guard may be “ill-suited” to protect liquified natural gas facilities. President Bush has threatened to veto a Coast Guard funding bill that would require such a new security role.
